Rio Safari Elche
Rio Safari Elche makes for a fantastic fun day out for the whole family. As its name suggests it is located in Elche on the road connecting Elche and Santa Pola. With numerous different species of animals from all around the world, sheltered here, you are bound to see your favourite animal. There are reptiles, lions, tigers, elephants, giraffes, crocodiles, birds of paradise, zebras, chimpanzees and much more. There are special shows held at certain times such as the sea lions and elephant shows and you can also experience swimming with sea lions, or riding a pony. And if you want to have some interesting photos to remember your experience then there are photo opportunities sitting on an elephant or camel. You can walk around the safari park on foot or take a guided tour on train. In addition to the animals there is also a small Aquatic Park area to cool off and go for a swim. You are welcome to bring your own food to eat at the picnic and snack bar area; there is however a hamburger bar and restaurant/self service (which do lovely made to order crepes).

Aviary
The Aviary holds a mixed variety of tropical birds that may be very noisy but are absolutely stunning to look at, with their colourful feathers. You’ll see Macaws, Amazon Parrots, Sun Parakeets, Cockatoos, Rainbow Lorikeets and many more.
Caiman Farm
Caiman Farm is built on 1,500 m² of land and houses 20 caimans. It is quite an experience seeing these powerful creatures up close and if you’re lucky you might even get the chance to see them being fed and see those powerful jaws in action.
Educational Farm
Children can have the chance to see farm animals such as the cow, pig and goat, up close and personal and even get to interact with them during planned workshops.
Primate Island
Primate Island is an island of land that is 1,000 m²; it is not enclosed and is instead out in the open. It has a variety of trunks, rocks, ropes, swings and bridges etc to keep the chimpanzees stimulated. You’ll hopefully get the chance to see the very playful chimpanzees swinging around.
Reptile Cave
A dark cave area, where you will have the chance to see a wide variety of reptiles and amphibians. The 300 m² area has been converted to be as close as possible to their natural habitat. You might see the Yemen Chameleon, the Bearded Dragon, Pythons, Lizards, bats and many more.
Tiger Temple
Here you can see some Bengal Tigers up close. They are truly magnificent creatures and it is very awe inspiring seeing them up close and understanding just how large they are. Their Prairie area has several water zones, where you may get the chance to witness them having a splash to cool down.
Aquatic Park
Included in your ticket price is entry to the Aquatic Park where you can cool down with a relaxing swim. With a reasonably large pool and water slide, you can chill out and enjoy the Spanish sunshine.
Go Karts and Trampolines
There is also an additional section with some alternative ways of having fun, which includes a Go-Karting Area and some Trampolines where your children can jump and bounce like crazy and burn off some energy.
Food and Drinks
There are picnic zones next to a snack bar, where you can eat a packed lunch that you have brought yourself; you can leave your food in your car while you have fun in the park and then it’s fine to just nip out to your car to collect it when you decide to eat. There is even a microwave that you are free to use. You can buy drinks, ice creams or snacks from the snack bar. Or alternatively there is a Hamburger Bar if you fancy a burger or you could eat at the Restaurant/Self Service, where they have a variety of food such as pasta, paella, baked chicken dishes, sausages, chips, freshly made baguettes and much more.
