Our map shows where the Torrevieja Pier (aka Dique de Levante Breakwater) starts and the Lighthouse is the very end of the walk, some 1,600 meters (that’s just about 1 mile) so if you walk all the way to the end and you will then have no choice but to walk back 😉 you will have walked 2 miles, I had the luxury of doing this walk myself without the kids, as I had to get photos for this website. This walk is wheel chair friendly, however to access with wheel chairs, you go up the ramp that is just down from the stairs to the right, and once at the top it’s a level surface all the way along.
Torrevieja Lighthouse at the end of the Pier I have to admit is a little disappointing from the point of view that local “street artists” have decided to scrawl all over it, shame that, so unless one of them turns out to be a future Spanish Banksy then I doubt we will be recommending the “art work” at the end of the walk 😉

Throughout Spain there are disused railway lines, and the Spanish government alongside local councils came up with an ingenious idea to make good use of them.
