Aitana Safari Park

Aitana Safari Park offers an exciting day trip from Torrevieja and is very popular with the kids. Less than an hour and a half drive from the city, the safari park is situated in a vast area of 1,5oo,000m2. This allows the animals room to roam and provides visitors with an authentic safari feel. Since they started building Aitana in 1973, they have constantly added more land to help house the animals they rescue. There is a choice of exciting safari options including touring the park in your own vehicle. This allows you and your family to see the animals at your own leisure. Private tours give you the expertise of one of the parks keepers to guide groups of family or friends. Standard tours are in mixed groups with the assistance of a guide. The VIP Tour includes lunch and a visit to nearby Guadalest Valley. There is also the amazing option of being a Keeper For The Day.

Aitana Safari Park Experience

Driving through the park is a fantastic experience and takes visitors on a journey across 4 continents. You will see the mighty lion, giraffe, elephant, hippo, monkeys and ostrich from Africa. There is the beautiful jaguar and elusive Mackenzie wolf from the Americas. Cute red squirrels and bighorn sheep come from Europe. Be sure to slow down during your drive to spot Asia’s majestic tiger. Visitors to Aitana Safari Park can relax in the restaurant or on the terrace. Here you can enjoy either a snack menu or a choice of home made favourites. These include soups and salads, pork, lamb, chicken, fish or stew. There is a choice of hot and cold drinks.
