El Acequion Beach
El Acequion is one of the larger beaches of Torrevieja at 900 meters long. It has disability access and is easy to get to via bus, car or foot. Its sandy beach is ideal for some quality sunbathing and the calm blue waters are perfect for swimming in. There are Life Guard services making it nice and safe for taking children in for a paddle or a swim. The beach has foot showers which are fantastic, especially with children, to clean off the sand before heading home, so there are no complaints from them about how uncomfortable it is having sand in their sandals. As it’s an urban beach there are plenty of nearby restaurants and bars to enjoy a nice lunch or dinner allowing you to really make a day of it.
