El Cura Beach

El Cura (also known as Playa de Cura) has very fine golden sand and is 500 meters in length. It runs right along the water front of Torrevieja and is probably the most urban beach out of them all, therefore can get very busy, especially during the summer months. On the plus side its location means that there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. El Cura has a lot more to offer in the way of services than some of the other beaches. It is cleaned regularly and has been awarded the Blue Flag status and also the Qualitur Award. It has Life Guards, making it very safe for swimming in and also has umbrella and sun lounger rentals. There are toilets and foot showers, so no annoying sand in your shoes when you leave.
